School of Biblical Studies (SBS)

The School of Biblical Studies (SBS) is an Inductive Bible Study school that is part of Youth With a Mission's (YWAM) University of the Nations. Participants are taught to study all 66 books in the Scriptures using the inductive method, where students are taught to listen to what God's word is saying by observing the text, interpreting the text in light of the people it was written to and the historical context that God spoke to His people. Most importantly, the goal of studying God's word is to apply what God is saying to our lives.

Students are invited to sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to Him. Students are taught to to think critically and independently so that they can be confident in what the God is teaching them and discover God through the Word.

It has been our dream to see a quality Biblical-based encounter established in the Golden Triangle where God's people in Burma can come face-to-face with the reality of God and His plan of redemption for the nations. A place where the word of God is put back into the hands of the people of God, and they are empowered and encounter the Father, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Where they can become disciples of Jesus that take the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to the hills and valleys of Burma, to the least, the last and the lost to see the transforming power of the Gospel change people, families, communities and the nations.
